Telltale Games has announced their next series, due out this summer: “The Wolf Among Us”. Yeah, I know, I’m late announcing it since I already alluded to it in a previous post. Sue me.

Based on Bill Willingham’s award-winning comic book series ‘FABLES’ and licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the new series will premiere on Xbox 360, PS3, Windows PC, and Mac. This continues the trend of Telltale Games in exploring serious and mature themes through point and click adventure games.

UPDATE: Though this may seem like an April Fools joke (especially since the game page actually 404′d when this post went live), Telltale Games is insisting on their twitter feed that it’s the real deal, with tweets such as: “#WhatIsTheKeyParty? It’s no bluff… Telltale Games’ Poker Night 2 Officially Announced! http://go.ign.com/126KkhV pic.twitter.com/XkUkaswPT7″ and “And if you haven’t seen it yet, the 100% real trailer for @TelltaleGames’ #PokerNight2 is here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax8CmR6PCbI …”.

I’m sure you’re with me when I say that I can’t wait for Telltale Games’ upcoming games “The Wolf Among Us” and the second season of “The Walking Dead”. And by “can’t wait” I do mean that…I personally threatened Telltale Games with never reviewing their games ever ever again if they didn’t come up with a game RIGHT NOW for me to play so there.

And they did! This gem, Poker Night 2, featuring some of the biggest personalities in gaming, film, and animation. Sequel to Poker Night at the Inventory, this sexy beast will be coming to the Xbox 360, PS3, and on PC and Mac from Steam. Yum!

The news was just released late yesterday. The Walking Dead: Episode Three – Long Road Ahead has a release date! On Wednesday, August 29th, Episode Three will be available to all WindowsPC and Mac gamers with the Season Pass option (available for $19.99). The game is also releasing on Xbox Live Arcade the same day, and on the PlayStation Network the day before (that would be today). These releases are all in the North American continent, btw. If you’re outside of that location, Telltale is still awaiting a release confirmation from their international partners at SCEE.

The stakes get even higher in Episode Three as Lee, Clem, and the rest of the group are forced to move on from the motel. The fallout from treachery within the group will lead to some shocking moments, and – depending on the choices you make – one of the hardest things that Lee has ever had to do.

Also announced, The Walking Dead: Episode Two – Starved for Help is launching on Wednesday, August 29th on iOS as an in-app purchase within ‘Walking Dead: The Game’ for $4.99 or as part of the Multi-Pack bundle that includes episodes 2-5 for $14.99, a 25% savings versus buying all the episodes individually.

Check out the screens from Episode Three below, and watch the newest trailer on the Telltale site.

Oh noes! Not another zombie game! But Telltale Game’s The Walking Dead isn’t “just another zombie game”. Based on the award-winning comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead attempts to draw the player into the conflicts of the survivors of a zombie plague in a very story-centric interactive world. And episode one, A New Day, has just hit the Telltale Games store for you to consume.
