Need more bowling time? Here’s Flick Bowling 2
Freeverse has announced Flick Bowling 2, the sequel to the popular iPhone game using a flick of the finger to bowl a perfect set. That last part is our story, and we’re sticking to it.
Apparently bowling perfect sets isn’t good enough, though. So Freeverse presents you, the player, with that rarest of opportunities…the chance to defeat the evil deeds of some dude named Baron Von Schtopwatch with your exceptional bowling skills. You play as one of six historical figures with no attachment to historical reality, such as Cleopatra or Genghis Khan who, as far as I know, never bowled a perfect set in their lives.
You can throw that ball in five different bowling alleys set in different time periods as well. Want to find out what bowling was like in Egypt 2000 years ago? Now you can…wait, they didn’t bowl back then? Um, well….Now you too can see what it would have been like to bowl in Egypt 2000 years ago if they had bowled.
Flick Bowling 2 features beautiful 3-D graphics and true to life pin physics (I wonder if that means you’ll have to deal with all that sand…). Simply position your player and flick across the screen to roll the ball. Add a hook to your roll by moving your finger left or right at the end of your flick. Earn awards and compare scores with Plus+ integration as well.
The game includes both hotseat and bluetooth multiplay modes, so you can face off against your friends while on horseback (what? Genghis Khan rode horses, right?). There’s also a fast lane mode, for you folks that can’t wait your turn.
