I decided to cancel the May 22 show for two reasons. Reason one was because I wasn’t able to make it to E3. I felt that any coverage I was going to do about E3 would really just be a review of coverage from other sites…which really wasn’t what people wanted.

The second reason is because I’m in the process of revising the iGame Radio show. I want to change the format and sound a bit and make it more listener-friendly, as it were. For one thing, I’m concerned that there aren’t very many people who show up in the chat room any more (for comparison, with The Gamesome Mac we would have on average about 15 to 20 people for many shows…for very popular shows it could go into the hundreds). I want to make it more available for people to hang out in the chat room and socialize about Mac games and anything in general.

Alternatively, if people aren’t interested in hanging out in a chat room anymore, I’d like to know, because I’ll just ditch the chat room. I’d rather not spend the energy to keep it open and keep track of it only because a couple of people remember occasionally to show up.

Obviously, listener thoughts are greatly appreciated on this subject, and anything regarding iGame Radio. So if you want to make a contribution to these changes, or just want to share some thoughts about the show, don’t hesitate to email me.

Oh, and I have created an AppleScript program in conjunction with an iCal calendar to remind one of when the iGame Radio show is on and remind one to log into the chat room.
