Jump Birdy Jump is a physics-based iOS game by Ovo Game involving birds. No, this is not a repeat of Angry Birds. In fact, it’s not anything like the Rovio game at all, having much more in common with the Freeverse game Parachute Ninja. You catapult your bird through numerous puzzles to help him find his true birdy love. The game is priced at $1.99 for iPhone and $2.99 for iPad.

Digital Tales has released Ducati Challenge for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad. This game brings official Ducati bikes onto the iOS screen for real racing fun. Players can ride the most powerful standard models in Ducati’s my2011 line, including the Monster 1100 EVO, Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP, and Superbike 1198 SP…speeding along fast race tracks, winding mountain roads, narrow medieval village streets, bustling metropolises and hot desert valleys. Three different modes are available…Championship, Quick Race, and Multiplayer. Ducati Challenge also offers customization of bike handling as well as different graphic settings to get the best speed from your device. Game Center will allow players to unlock achievements and climb leaderboards. Ducati Challenge is available for $3.99 for the iPhone/iPod Touch, and $5.99 for the iPad.

Lastly, Smuttlewerk Interactive has released a very interesting iPad game, Companions. The game reminds us of old school 2D RPG games as well as the old arcade classic Gauntlet. That makes sense because it’s a dungeon-crawler/RPG where you lead a team of four characters into real-time battles against the false god “Detexx” and the “Hordes of Nether”. The game is playable both as a campaign with full storyline and as a single-map experience. You get to manage all four of your party members, including upgrades, etc, with Game Center support. The game was just released and is available for $4.99.
