UPDATE: I heard back from G5 regarding why no Stand O’Food 2 for the Mac was released…that version was just not good enough to port to the Mac! We really DID luck out!.

G5 Entertainment has announced that Stand O’Food 3, sequel to their burger-serving game, will be available for download on the Mac App Store starting June 2 for $6.99. Head to Tinseltown with Ronnie the Chef as he extends his burger chain operations and disrupts the evil plans of Mr. Torg.

Stand O’Food 3 includes over 75 levels and 12 special levels to unlock over 33 achievements to obtain expert status. During the game, you open restaurants around Tinseltown, serving fast and healthy food including fresh-made burgers, pies, lasagnas, French fries, coffee, ice cream and soda. Hmm, somebody has an interesting definition of “healthy food”.

Interestingly enough, G5 skipped Stand O’Food 2 for the Mac, going straight for number three…we’ve lucked out with the most recent version! Also, if the word “Tinseltown” sounds familiar, it’s because that’s where Nikki from Supermarket Mania 2 shows up to open her supermarket stores in. And guess who she meets there? Romance in the air…?

Anyway, the gameplay of the original Stand O’Food comes with all new graphics, music, customers, products, devices and special levels, as well as new game mechanics, ingredients and sauces to research new recipes, and feeding customers in 25 cafes around the city.
