CD Projekt RED announces The Bard
CD Projekt RED Team has announced a new game, The Bard: Saviors of Queens. Featuring non-linear male-female relationships and short gameplay, The Bard is promising fun gaming with no complex storyline or morality or, uh, much of anything other than wine, song, and, er, well, you know.
Based on the trailer, The Bard is set in a medieval-type world where-in our faithful bard is the spy for the queen, traipsing about the lands gathering information. And where better to get that information than your local taverns? And who better to gather that information than your local tavern wenches?
The visuals are outstanding, the sound great. And though the press promises no violence, the trailer shows plenty of it, including the new mandolin fighting-style, as well as bomb-making and some awesome acrobatics.
What The Bard also features is a lot of women, in a lot of different amounts of dress (and undress), in enticing poses. We can’t tell you whether our faithful bard does all he can to obtain the information (aka Dragon Age Origins), but we’re sure that’s his intentions.
You can check out the official announcement trailer and a developer diary at the website for The Bard. Unfortunately, there’s no date for it’s premiere, which is listed as “when it’s done.”
Editor’s Note: Okay, yeah, we know that this is an April Fool’s Joke. But man, if this game were actually released, WE’D play it!
