Virtual City update includes Game Center support, HD version

Virtual CityG5 has announced an update to Virtual City that includes Game Center support. The update will also include their new Sandbox Mode and improved Retina Display support.

Virtual City is a city simulator, ala Sim City, for the iPhone wherein you build your city, adding manufacturing centers, setup mass-transit systems, add utilities such as garbage, fire and police departments, etc. You can even trade with neighboring cities, or work with them to build landmark constructions.

The new update includes a Sandbox Mode in which you can build as you wish on five maps with no goals. Also, Game Center integration will include support for leaderboards and achievements as well.

Lastly, G5 has launched Virtual City HD. This iPad version contains Sandbox Mode from the start and can be purchased from the App Store for $9.99.

You can download Virtual City for $2.99 from the App Store; a lite version is also available.
