The Playforge’s Zombie Farm becomes the latest iPhone/iPod Touch game to join the ranks of Game Center integration. The new update includes quests, achievements, and a new combat ability.

Zombie Farm mashes Farmville with the zombie craze to put players in the shoes of a countryside farmer making a living off the land by planting both corpses and crops. To build their farm to greatness, they must harvest veggies to earn gold, while also building a horde of the living dead to invade their enemies. The update includes Game Center integration and achievements. The developer claims that one can have multiple farms by using different Game Center accounts.

Zombies also now have combat abilities (unlocked after winning invasions) as well as new fighting mechanics. And there are also now quests as well as daily offers for free items.

The game is free to play, with extras provided as in-app purchases. A new website has launched that includes comics, videos, and screenshots, and will even generate different 3D zombies with every visit. Links to a FAQ, social networks, and forums are also available.
