Marvel’s Super Hero Squad Online is a MMOG based on the toy line introduced in 2006, and the tv show introduced in 2009. Developed by Amazing Society and set to be published by Gazillion Entertainment, this kid-friendly MMOG takes the super-small super heroes into the online world for some socializing and card-based action. A sandbox combined with a fighting card-game, where your characters really fight, Gazillion is hoping to connect with all ages with their MMOG.

I had the opportunity to chat with a designer from Amazing Society at PAX 2010 about the game, and we chatted about how the game mechanics work, how they connect to the physical card game, and what the future of the game is. The game is planned for Windows and Mac.
