Supermarket Management on the App Store
G5 Entertainment announced last week Supermarket Management, a time management game set in a…wait for it…supermarket. Developed originally for the PC by Playful, G5 has now brought the game to the iPhone.
Kate is fresh out of college, and gets the chance of a lifetime. No, just kidding, she starts her career working in a grocery store. Help her climb her way to the top and become the manager of the supermarket. She has to keep her customers happy while managing the supermarket, hiring coworkers, and selling treats. She can purchase upgrades to help her along the way. Is one of those upgrades the self-service check-out? Yeah, I think that really puts a damper on supermarket time management games. Eventually you can open up new shops and climb to the top of the corporate ladder.
You know, I really tried to be excited by this game. But, seriously, how excited can you get by a game whose very title speaks of mundanity. Supermarket Management? C’mon, Playful, couldn’t you have been more, y’know, creative?
