TellTale Games comes to the Mac!

Telltale Games LogoWe heard about it in rumors, like quiet rumblings of hope in the night. But now we can confirm without a doubt…TellTale Games is bringing their entire collection of games to the Mac! A press release sent out this morning and confirmed by popping by the booth just a short bit ago has announced that the first TellTale game to make it to the Mac is Tales of Monkey Island. This critically acclaimed title follows Guybrush Threepwood’s on his quest to eradicate the insidious Pox of LeChuck, reunite with his wife and vanquish his arch rival in episodic gameplay.

Even better, TellTale Games is taking input from you, the Mac community, as to which title to bring to the Mac next. Voting is occurring right now on TellTale’s site. Gamers can choose between Sam & Max, Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People, or Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures. The voting continues until February 21st, with the winning game announced the following week and launched on the Mac in March.

Finally, TellTale is not docking you for having purchased the PC version of the game (to run using bootcamp, right? RIGHT?!). Prior purchasers of the PC version can download the Mac version for free. All future purchases of TellTales Games will get both the Mac and PC version for one price.

Tales of Monkey Island is available right now for $34.95, and the voting has commenced. So, Get Out The Vote!
