Small Wonders announced last week the release of Battle of Puppets, a creative take on platform combat play. Featuring marionette–like puppets that you manipulate on many different stages, you battle opposing puppets across the country as you make your way to Broadway to perform the opera of your dreams. Featuring play in 22 different American theaters, you build units, upgrade castles and outposts, and even cast spells using written gestures to destroy the opposing forces and win the affection of the crowd.

You also have a choice of 5 operas to play, with different strengths and weaknesses between them. unit types, and building speeds. Even changing weather conditions affect your opera, as it changes which routes you choose and how fast your troupe gets across to Broadway. Another feature are professions that let you cast magic, and a bonus extra race that you can unlock to take on the hard mode.
