Hearts of Iron III released
More gaming goodness. Virtual Programming recently announced the release of Hearts of Iron III for the Mac. The third in the popular Hearts of Iron series (thus, you know, the III), This strategy game provides players with the ability to guide one of more than 100 countries through the turbulent years of 1936 to 1948 in “what if” scenarios of those popular war-time trials. The game provides for every avenue, from brute strength to diplomacy solutions. The AI has been fine-tuned to provide realistic representations of military and political characters based on real-world counterparts. And the logic and technology trees have been detailed out to new depths.
The system requirements include:
- OS X 10.5.8 or higher
- Any Intel CPU
- GeForce 7300, Radeon HD2400 (GMA cards not supported)
- 1.3 GB hard disk space
- Broadband connection for Internet play and product registration
